ChatticaAI Setup

Use the Kitta Audio or OpenAI-compatible TTS option in ChatticaAI to configure an API key, model, and character voice.

Connect Kitta Audio TTS to ChatticaAI

ChatticaAI is a mobile character-chat app with custom speech support. Current versions provide Kitta Audio TTS and an OpenAI-compatible TTS option for assigning voices to characters.

Choose the TTS type

Open the app's voice or TTS provider settings. If your version displays Kitta Audio, select it and enter the API key and Voice ID. To specify a custom server URL, choose OpenAI-compatible TTS.

For OpenAI-compatible mode, enter:

SettingValue
Base URLhttps://fishaudio.org/v1
API KeyYour Kitta Audio API key
Modelfishaudio-s21pro-flash
Voice00a1b221-6137-4b73-ad62-b0cbce134167
Formatmp3

Labels can vary by app version and may appear as Provider URL, Endpoint, Voice ID, or Speaker. For a Base URL field, stop at /v1. If the app explicitly requests a complete endpoint, use https://fishaudio.org/v1/audio/speech.

Assign a character and test

Save the provider and select it in the character's Voice or TTS settings. Play a short test sentence, then replace the system test voice with your preferred Kitta Audio Voice ID.

To give characters different voices, reuse the Base URL, key, and model, and change only the character's Voice ID.

Troubleshooting

  • No OpenAI-compatible option: update ChatticaAI to a version that includes custom TTS support.
  • 404: check whether the field expects a Base URL or complete endpoint and avoid duplicating /v1/audio/speech.
  • The character uses the default voice: check whether character-level Voice settings override the global provider.
  • 401/402: verify the API key and API credit balance.
